My name is Jay. Photography is not my full-time profession but it is my full-time passion! My photographic tastes vary but I tend to favor a fun and flirty style. Hopefully the photos in my portfolio can attest to that.
TF work: I have done a fair amount of TF work and I'd love to continue doing it. Alas those pesky bills get in the way and my paid work has to take priority. If you'd like to work with me and would like to be prioritized to the top of the list, I can offer you an extremely reasonable rate. If we set up a TF shoot, I do expect that you'll show for the shoot. Of course, traffic delays and other things do come up that might cause you to be a bit late, I understand, but no-shows end up on my no-TF list.
What do you get for TF? Within 24 hours of the shoot, expect a few low-resolution photos that are suitable for Model Mayhem, Facebook, and other online ports. Then, I finish other photos off over the next couple of weeks. I aim to deliver 12-24 finished photos--and I do mean finished, I never send over anything raw. The exception to this is composite works: they generally will take much longer but I do try to get them finished as soon as possible. As I wrap up the whole process, I send over high resolution digital files of the finished photos.
What do I with the photos? I post them on my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/highimpactcreations), on my web site (www.highimpactcreations.com), my Model Mayhem port, and any other photo port where appropriate. I do not sell photos and the TF contract I use prohibits that activity for both parties. When posting on my Facebook page, I do not tag the model but I do allow for the model to tag them self. I do this because some newer models prefer to have a separate modeling and personal life-- I do not wish to put anyone in the uncomfortable position of explaining their reasons why they might not be tagged so I leave it up to them. This may change at some point if enough models complain about it, of course.
Escort policy: it's a dangerous world out there, models should bring an escort when dealing with photographers they have not yet worked with. I now know too many horror stories from new models and some bad experience they have had with GWCs. While I can promise that you'll be treated with professionalism and respect at the shoot, I will, in the same breath encourage you to do a background check on each photog you shoot with, including me: start with the models you see in my port and then do some homework in model/mua/photog facebook groups like "pose." I do encourage bringing an escort; however, I will require the escort to be outside of the shoot area. This is to keep the escort from becoming part of the shoot--I have yet to have an escort show up for a shoot and stay out of the shoot at the same time, therefore this policy.
