Actually, there have been many occasions where I have paid models' posing fees. However, you seem to be suggesting that models should get paid residuals. That's insane.

Did a couple test shots. It appears that the HSS is for pentax strobes only. The max speed one can get a trigger out of the camera on manual is 1/180. The HSS sync will work in the programmed modes, but not in manual. I think I will try and see if...

I use Canon DPP for basic adjustments and conversion of the Raws to 16 TIFF which I post-process in PhotoShop. I used to use GIMP for post-processing (via 8 bit TIFF), which is a fine powerful program.
