Visible Tattoos & Agencies
Now, this question doesn't apply to me (no tatts, for starts), but I saw it asked elsewhere and thought it would be interesting to hear Roger's POV on it.
If a model is going into an agency and has tattoos that are visible when wearing normal clothing, should she cover them up in some way (jewelery, makeup, clothing)?
Now, clearly, if the agency asks to see her in her bikini, she'll be showing them her tattoos (unless they're hidden by her suit as well), and at some point, if she gets signed, she'll need to disclose that she has them.
But initially, should a model with tattoos cover or hide them when walking into an agency?

I think it depends on the model, the kinds of jobs she's likely to compete for, and the agency. For a 40 year old model and a commercial agency, I'd suggest hiding them, if you don't have to take heroic measures to do it. For a fashion model, you might as well get in front of the issue and let the agency decide what to do about it. They are going to find out soon enough.
Makes sense
Thanks!
