Beauty with Rachel Jay

Thoughts?
What's good? What's bad? What should I watch out for in the future?
Please note, the cool tone was intentional. If you feel it detracts from the shot, feel free to say so, but do know that it was intentional when I was processing the image.

I would watch out for washed out highlights. Tough to tell from the size of the first picture if the shot is truely overexposed, or just a byproduct of reducing the shot.
The blonde hair is a little light to me on both shots. The rest of both shots look good to me artistically.

The second image is intentionally washed out. There is no real white point or black point.
Oh, and Rachel's hair is platinum. The top image is a bit blown in her hair in parts, but the second isn't.

I like the hat shot. I dragged it to my desktop to get readings from the hot spots, and I couldn't find an area without a detail number. It's just a well exposed nice high key shot. I did make some adjustments to it based on my tastes. I have it on my server and can give you a link to it if you like.

Thank you Sita. There are many more from the set, and I'm super excited to retouch them. I'm thinking another one tonight, after I make some more headway on wedding photos.
It's like my treat. Retouch this many wedding photos, then retouch a model photo. LOL

Sure would like to see Rachel nude at some point, if for no other reason than to validate she is a woman. My eyes are beginning to fail and it gets harder to tell all the time, especially since she has that damn no touching clause in her contract.

Looks good to me, but then I don't have anything against blonde pirates. (Bob probably will think you cropped the shot a little too high though...

The hat pic is very nice, it seems good seperation from the background. I like her pose and expression.
I wish the hat was not chopped.
The second image I have trouble with the background so washed my eyes focus on her brown belt.

I like the last one best by far.
It would kick even more ass, however, if there was a nice catchlight to bring the other eye back to life.

Laura and Rachel, I have been traveling for the last three weeks, so just got a chance to review this.
