Swivi is a new and innovative design which adds a large 5.6" swivel HDMI LCD to any camera. The large 5.6" Swivi LCD adds form and function for Photographers and Videographers.
Any thoughts on this ? Like or don't like ?

I made one with a used monitor. The bracket was easy to make, I used 1/2" square tubing and some flat stock, welded and painted black. The whole thing cost me $20.00.

I've shot with and tested my new swivi camera monitor a few times now, and here's what my thoughts are.
1st. Their optional battery tray that uses AAA batteries really sucks, a poor design.
2nd. They say the battery life while using LP-E6 cannon battery is around 105 minutes. But its actually around 45 min. with constant use. Make sure you have plenty of batteries with you.
On the plus side it works awesome. My favorite is using the peak feature to check your forcus and DOF. Thats a big plus for me ! For the price compare to other monitors that costs 400-600 dollars.
