Any fans of "Breaking Bad" or...
I hate it when shows I love become stupid and preposterous. It started with "La Femme Nikita", then Star Trek (After Voyager) then "X-files", then "Battlestar Gallactica". I used to love "Dexter" up until John Lithgow killed the wife and then the show took a swan dive in bad writing and ridiculous characters. I couldn't watch it anymore. It was such a disgrace and became an inane travesty of a fine show. It's absolutely unwatchable now. You used to be able to forgive his serial killing because he only killed bad guys but when he killed an innocent victim, the show lost me. I actually wish I could pay $100 and have some scientist wipe my brain clean of the way a show I love gets ruined by different writers and producers. I get so wrapped up in a show, as a fan, that it's actually painful, when I see something I love, become crap. Now I'm sad to say "Breaking Bad" has lost its greatness. The episodes of the first three seasons were all masterpieces. I must have watched each episode three or four times and there wasn't one clunker. Vince Gilligan really invented some great characters you genuinely care about because the characters were so well written and you loved the relationship between Mr. White and Jesse. The fourth season had a few moments, here and there, but except for Gus's death, there really weren't that many memorable moments like the earlier seasons. Now the fifth season has been a joke. Jesse and Saul are hardly there. They're bringing in characters no one cares about. They've changed Walter's character where you don't care about him anymore. You almost wish he had cancer again so you can forgive him being a drug dealer. Now he's responsible for getting a kid shot and making his wife hate him. I haven't seen the ending seasons of "House" yet and I'm hoping it doesn't go bad on me too.
I fear you may have lost touch with reality.

You mean like Sam Lowry at the end of "Brazil", which was also a favorite movie of mine?
