The username is the name you will use to login to the site with. The display name is what is shown on your profile. To keep your profile secure we suggest these be different.
Shooting blank shirts suitable for web merchandise catalogWe are in the final phases of getting our merchandising arm completed for Insider House (including Model Insider, The Rocky Horror Community and a number of other web properties). One thing we don't have is a set of images of models in the kinds of shirts we will be offering. The manufacturer has some stock photography which, in a word, sucks.
What we need to do is shoot a couple models wearing blank t-shirts (including standard t-shirts, babydolls, tank tops, etc) of various colors such that we can add the designs in post. Our printer is located on the waterfront of Lake Union, so we'll simply shoot down there. We're doing this on a shoestring budget, so pay, while negotiable, is something that we're trying to avoid right now. That said, once the printing starts up, we can throw some shirts your way, your smiling face will be on both our merchandising site as well as our web properties, our facebook page (with over 18,000 fans at this point, in its first two months!)...
And should this succeed as we hope it will, we will be needing more in the future and *will* then have an actual cash-like budget. Yes, I know, promises, promises, but there you go. You will, of course, be free to use the shots for your own portfolio, both the retouched blank-shirt as well as final marketing shots, as you wish. And if you have a genre that you need for your book, I'd be happy to arrange a second shoot on another day to shoot what *you* need in trade, fully retouched, no cost.
Theme for the catalog shoot will be sexy but no nudity - implied at most, PG-13 - as we surely can't have a mainstream merchandising web site with b00bs :-) So we're looking for models with classic glamour features and posing abilities. Total shoot time will likely be less than two hours, start to finish. Wardrobe will be our shirts, and for bottoms, we'd like you to bring a pair of jeans, a pair of sexy shorts, and, if it's your style, a bikini bottom. We'll see what works best with each shirt design.
Makeup and hair should be fully natural - nothing that distracts from the shirt; nothing special. The date is flexible. I put next weekend down because we can move that fast, but weekdays are also open. In essence, I'll accommodate your schedule. Daylight, of course.
